Encompass is licensed under the zlib license. You should have received a copy of this license with the framework code. If not, the full text of the license is provided here.

The long and short of it is that you can do just about anything you want with the code, but you have to credit me as writing the original software and cannot misrepresent your modifications as being the original software, and you can't relicense it. Acknowledgments for my hard work are not explicitly required but are very much appreciated, and if you make a hit game with this software I would definitely appreciate you kicking some money my way.
